Yep, living close to Vermont ...the Subaru State, they are all over the place, driving around at 30 mph to save the planet and can't be bothered by pesky, restrictive, oppressive, insensitive traffic laws.

That said, I've spent quite a bit of time in Europe. France and Italy are a nightmare ... and yet you see very few accidents. Take a cab ride through downtown Paris around noon, it's incredible what the drivers will do, and the intersections that are often just a free for all.
