All the outlaw car are capable of winning. Its not a matter of who has more power . Its a matter of who can tune there car better from A to B. Its a tuners race. The question really is how many of those cars have gone 390's like cheif has and my guess is none of them including cheif have done that street racing .....

The fireball camaro has gone 3’s. The street they race on (405) has got a ton of rubber on it plus the traction aid they use there seems to be plenty of hook.....similar to a dragstrip surface. Remember a lot of them have stepped up this year.....new combos, more power!

So you're saying they go 390 on that 405 street?

What I'm saying is they are putting down a whole lot more power then you think they are! Yes because it is a street rather then a prepped dragstrip chucks & chiefs car will not be that far behind! LOL!

The problem on that street is, after about 60-100 ft there is no rubber down, and that's where the street equalizes the cars.
Agree, just as any motorsport, the track surface only is able to hold so much power and after you exceed that, if your making 3000 or 5000 HP, it's all in how close can you stay on the edge without going over the edge. Street racing is akin to tractor pulling, you can have 10,000 HP but if you can't get it to the track, you lose. I could care less what heads Chief runs, it's a competitive Pontiac, that should be good enuff. |

I know what there making for power ..
Take cheif and Ryan . Have them switch cars for a month and see what happens .. I think Ryans team knows there car better as well as know how to tune better. Thats why Ryans on top. For no other reason.. . Neither one of those cars are turned all the way up when they raced, so theres no reason for more power at that point if there at the edge ... That might be cheifs move at this point maybe.

Ryans car is a good 200 lbs heavier and he is still out running chief. 481 cubed engine is not going to compete with a 570 something engine......thats what they are all turning to. Chief is sucking hind tit.....it was only a matter of time and money.

George, you are a bracket racer as you stated a million times. I have a few friends that have raced Street outlaws, 405, and memphis. You are clueless if you think that street is even close to a track. My friends low 7 second big tire street car had to dial way back. He was testing the day before to try and get it down the road. at the 500 ft mark he went sideways a few times. I bet your car might have trouble with the Farm truck on that street, especially with the crooked launch going on. You fix that yet?
