That's hard to believe about Moldex. How could they have come from 6-7 months down to 3-4 weeks?

I have never seen Moldex even "rough in" a billet in 4 weeks and I have seen a lot of Moldex Cranks made by Bob Gillian (the old man) when he had 10 people plus the office staff to do the work. Joe Flowers jr (Whitey's son) has a much smaller number of people working for him today, Jack.

Maybe 4 weeks was a little short, it was over a year ago. But their time frame was far shorter than Crower or Bryant. They were the most expensive by 300$ also and dropped the price 200$ when I gave them Bryants price, 3200$ Crower wanted 3300$
The guy at Molodex said it was really slow for them at the time. It was surprising knowing of their rep for very long waits.
At any rate, the guy gave me a wait time of less that 2 months.

I called Moldex yesterday and it’s 10 weeks but the price was a fair amount more than the Bryant.

When I said 6-7 months, I was talking about when the crank is delivered- not about what the quote was.
