Robin, I think you could have done well with a Pontiac engine in the blue Firebird.
If Chief can do it, so can you.

Good luck racing.

I was at Robin's house yesterday I hope I don't get in trouble for saying this but he has three brand new aluminum and Pontiac box sitting on the floor as well as brand new CD one heads. Someone has a LOT of money to play with and choose any engine he wants and as long as a Pontiac ends up back between the frame rails it is cool.

But these Prolines, what is the advantage to just buying a big Hemi or something like that ? A Hemi is something that most can relate to, know what brand they are and thus have fans. Are Prolines limited in what classes they can run in ?

Buddy of mine bought a set form him. They were supposed to be round port ,that were fully ported . Titanium valves etc . Fuller charged him $4500 . What he got was a box stock set of D port with used titanium valves . He them had to take them to a shop in town to fix the valve job and to shave the one head so both combustion chambers were the same.

That guy is a thief. Known for sand rolling E round ports and charging for a CNC job by AFR. The stories are endless about him screwing people.

So, it looks like what happened here is Robbin bought a Proline and put it in his car and raced it but still has the intention of putting a twin turbo CV-1 Pontiac back in. Is that the basics ?

Close.. he is building a car and wanted one to race now.. he wanted to "get back in the saddle "
My understanding is he will sell the blue one once the new car is done and gets it together with the CV1 motor... also my understanding money is not a problem... time I believe is... that's why he dropped out of the racing seen... he was building a very successful company.. good for him, smart choice! The guy seems like a class act and will do very well with the new set up I'm sure.
