Default Spring and Bushing Tools

I’m planning to completely rebuild my ‘70 Tempest’s suspension front and back to OEM spec at the end of the driving season (bushings, shocks, and springs).

Will an internal spring compressor like this from Eastwood be a good choice?

Also, this looks like a good kit for Control Arm bushings. Any feedback on this kit or other recommendations?

Or would I be better off with an external spring compressor?

you will not be able to get the external one around the spring while the springs are in the A-Arms
externals are more for struts and their springs

I bought the China Freight bushing kit and it works good

The internals have worked for me over the years.. takes a little patience..and be sure it is mounted very well and lubed before tightening! I drop the rod down the shock hole from the top using just bottom clamps and tighten..
