Wanted: 3 speed saginaw 1.89
Looking for a 3 speed saginaw with 1.89 second gear. (3 grooves on the input shaft). If you have one and are going to Norwalk, PM me price.

Came with a 3 speed Saginaw when I bought it. Cant run Muncie due to rules on aluminum cases. 3.42 rear and a 1.89 second gear puts us pretty close to the sweet spot rpm wise. It’s grass roots so not a lot of money in it. Weekend warrior fun.

Any particulars on the round track racer?
Not many people on this board know anything (or care to know anything) about racing a Pontiac on an oval track. BTW, I always ran T400 trannies in my cars, 1.48 second gear with a 3.55 is a 5.25 final, 1.48 with a 4.10 is a 6.06, 2.48 first, if you're running a 2.56 axle, 6.34 final. I'm not sure what final you're looking for but those are the three I've used.
