Pretty car. I presume it is a corporate-powered beast and not a "real Pontiac".
Back in about 1973, while at NASA Apollo, I raced my 1965 Pontiac GTO 4-speed at the now non-existent "Houston International Raceway" in Dickinson, TX. This was located right behind the Gay Pontiac dealership off the freeway. One day, Don Gay showed up with his funny car and I talked to his wrench James Osteen for a while. By that time, the Funny Car had a Hemi in it although initially it had a RAV Pontiac. Osteen said they couldn't get the RAV to be competitive. Those were the days. |

I think that track closed own late 80s Craig. Return road felt like you were off roading! We had at least one local Trans Am Club event there.
