Did no want to take the time and make up a couple of simulation since I really do not know a whole lot about either car. So I just went quick and dirty knowing that would be quicker. Well here you go.

Very sweet Pontiac .But IMHO it will never go 5's with the power it has I seen the old car run very impressive in was making 1650 -1700 to run as fast as it did .A 1000 lbs less and your running 6.70 -6.50 with a tail wind.. But really cool car .. Best of Luck to all.

So what size blower and what % over is it gonna run? What trans? I hope to God it's not a glide... if it is, what's the first gear? How many injectors? How old is the chassis? Do you know what the car weighs or are u guessing? What is the compression on the motor? Are all cylinders equal or offset compression? Are they running liners or beadlocks? Dry sump? What mag?
Dont get me wrong, I wish them the best! Just been down this road and know it can be tough... If they can get the 60' sub 1.0, they have a shot at low 6's... that's 30's or less. In my opinion.. |
