David Koresh, cult leader of Branch Davidian, Waco history evidently was into vintage cars, but who would want his? Another article went into more detail, but the cult had a restoration shop. They built this car..... Big HP 427. Really too weird an adder to the bigger known tragic story.

The only real stigma to the whole thing was a butt hurt government that acted rash and ended up killing what amounted to a band of kooks and their hostages.
Buy the car, ditch the pedigree and enjoy! Nice car.

I'd love to have the front bucket seats by Recarro in my GTO.

I’m not up on Camaro values, but I have a hard time believing that it’s worth $62,000 without a prior famous owner, yet the article claims the dealer is “downplaying” that story.

Nice car, but that's too much for what it is.
Still, I'd have no problem owning it. If anything, it makes it more interesting.

"This is the car that he drove every day between the compound and downtown Waco,"
You mean they could have just arrested this guy in town and avoided the big conflagration? Who woulda thunk??

If I could I would write my original post differently, or better choice of words. Or maybe not post. It was just a tragic event that could have been different, I think those are safe words. Apologies to any offended by OP. I think when I read article on car initially, it tripped something in me. I almost got rid of silver car after unwittingly discovering it's part in past events. Briefly, it is felonious, with convictions, and victims. So it is weird owning a car tied to a bad or sad story. It requires accepting the truth that a car is just a car and that is it.
