As for the assembly manual, I know there are a number of '68 pages used in the '69 manual for some reason..but I can't say that I recall seeing that one before.

Yes, my car has A/C. And I haven’t seen those little square clips reproduced either.

I don’t know if it’s a A/C vs non-A/C difference or not. Someone told me the longer red ones sold by vendors are also used on Buick and/or Olds.

Ok, so that tells me that the OP's car should be fine with the repops sold by Ames. His appears to be a non-A/C car and the holes look to be rectangular shaped, as far as I can see from his photos.
