Need a little help guys.
Somewhere, buried in my garage is the original Pontiac info regarding which rear end ratios determined which transmission a car came with. I just cannot seem to locate it. I believe the change up between the wide ratio M20 and the close ratio M21 was somewhere between the 3.36:1 and the 3.90:1 rear end. Does anyone have this info handy that they could share with me? Thanks, Greg |

Usually M21-22 came with a 3.90 or lower.M20 could be ordered with pretty much any.Do you have the PHS on the car,it will tell you how it was made in regards to trans and rear gear.Tom
