76-78 license plate screws
Does anyone know the length of the '76-78 front license plate bracket screws, #525657 ? They are 1/4" but no mention of length.

76TA - Mine are 4.75 inches but if I were replacing them I would use about an inch longer as to have more room for washers, spacers etc. That still leaves about 4 inches of room inside the bumper before you can even see the bolt from below (with the spoiler removed :>)

Excellent, thanks and good info.
As it turns out what I have here is 120mm which also equates to 4.75". Mine are not originals but appear to be the same bolt, pic above was saved from an old NOS ad. |
