As many of you know I both bracket and heads up race my 78 T/A. I'm starting a new build and my intent (at the moment) is to turbocharge my new engine with either a pair of small turbos up front or a big single rear mount turbo. I know this would greatly enhance my heads up capabilities BUT can a turbo car be a consistent and competitive bracket car or is that variable just too much? My other thought is to go to a torqstorm supercharger.

I would not bracket race a turbo.....no one really does that in bracket racing. A pro charger type set up would be better between the two, I'm sure Luhn performance has kits for Pontiac. GTO George |

Thanks George, perhaps I should just stay with nitrous.

Another option for you is to buy a B & M/Weiand/Holley type street superchargers and adapt it to a BDS Pontiac intake, I’ve did this set up twice and it works great.
