68 400 cylinder head bolt location
Quickly question .. which location the head bolts come on ? I’m confused that I have two very long bolts are at one side that never ever can fit .. at driver side
Anyone has a picture which length is placed at every hole ? Is it same like a 65 389 engine ? Thx

it sounds like you may have 67 68 AC bracket bolts
they go on the 2 passenger side front spots in 69 the bracket bolts to the side of the head https://www.ebay.com/i/223012347465?chn=ps |

Yep ... I used a 69 AC bracket on my 68 because the spark plug is way easier to get to, had to find two shorter bolts for the front two locations on the passenger side.
Save those long bolts, someone might need them. |
