I am listing a 1968 LeMans GTO clone, Royal Bobcat tribute car for a friend of mine. Body is in good condition. No dents. No body rust except for roof, from the vinyl top it originally had. Roof needs work, but is sealed. All glass is excellent[owner is an auto window installer by trade]. All chrome replaced, polished or re-chromed. Interior is original with new headliner and carpet. Passenger seat has a split seam on the lower half. Has P/S, and 4 wheel disk brakes. Custom 100 amp alternator. 4 Core radiator and new hoses and belts. Custom, beefed up driveshaft. No hop bars, Moroso 50/50 shocks in rear, and 90/10 shocks in front. Gas tank has been red coated inside, and new fuel lines installed. Old school American 200S wheels[6 of them, 9.5", 8", 7"] with good tires. Cornering lights, new hood tach, and new brakes. Car had 64,000 original miles before he put about 20,000 miles on it. Vintage Pioneer stereo with EQ and cassette. Front end has been rebuilt. Car is a driver, but recently expired tags. Comes with a pair of slicks.
Engine is a 1968 YH 428 with 4 bolt mains. This engine is my old engine that I sold to him and completely built for him in 2011. I Cryo treated the entire engine and all parts in it. I align honed it, zero and square decked it, bore and honed it .040" over with a torque plate. I balanced it and assembled it. It has real Crower I beam forged steel rods that he purchased in the 1990's new, and saved them for this build. Icon forged pistons #IC892, with 10cc dish. Factory 428 crank. Stainless 1.65:1 roller rockers. Lunati 233°/241°, .550"/.580" lift VooDoo HFT cam. Moroso oil pan. Ported #62 iron heads I built with bronze guide liners, hard exhaust seats, and Ferrea S.S. valves. I resurfaced them with a minimal amount to clean them up. IIRC, chambers were around 78 cc's. Iron Q-jet Intake with a Jet Performance Q-jet #7028268. Also has a port matched Edelbrock Performer RPM intake to go with it. This engine runs really good and has explosive power. Transmission is a TH400, with a manual valve body, completely rebuilt with performance parts. Hurst Dual gate[His and Hers] shifter. Continental "Jim Hand special" converter. Olds 12 bolt Posi rearend with 3:90 gears, and Mossier axles. Asking $15,000. Call Kevin at 520-360-4899 after 4:00 PM AZ time with any questions. He does not get text messages or email[he has no computer] so you would have to call him. Car is located in Tucson, Arizona. I can field some questions here, on this thread, but please don't blow up my PM as I have enough problems keeping it, not full, as it is.
