Does anyone have any real world experience using the RAR 2.5" Round Port manifolds on a '67 GTO (RM-04-OSA) with E-heads? Talking with them today they said they occasionally see some small problems on the driver side to the cross member. Suggestion was to move the engine 1/4"- 1/2" back to take care of it. Not sure I want to drill 3 new holes next to each other to do this and the dist is pretty close to the firewall as it is. I'm already putting in Mike's 1/4" frame mt spacer plates to fix a clearance problem with an aftermarket pan and not sure if that might help? Body is off frame currently.
And I may not even have a problem - just want to understand options. Any advice or pictures appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

I can’t answer your question, but I can’t tell you that a ‘70 F-body RAIII driver’s side manifold will not fit. My factory one was cracked and I had the ‘70 one, and it “looked” like it would fit. It hit the crossmember and would have required the engine trans to move back to make it work.

Richie - what exhaust and mufflers did you put on it and are you happy with the choice. I have a 462 with an OF cam.
Thanks |

Customer put exhaust on stock type system I think I would put a 3 inch with X pipe and I use dyno max ultra flows or walker turbo mufflers
