Default 1966 WV car, from years past

I stumbled onto more photos of GTOs from years past. This one is Blue Charcoal w/white stripe on dark blue interior.

This particular 66 was purchased from the Original owner in late 1992 by a good friend of mine. He has since passed on, but sold it to another good friend which is a member here.

Once I found these photos I reached out to my friend Grant which in turn told me the story and sent more pics of this cool car. He sold it to a Southern California gentleman years ago.

The car came with the #616 option Tri-power WV (Smog equipped), 4 speed, saf-t-track, rally gauges and radio delete.

In these ‘92 photos the car was “Original paint and stripe” except the LH quarter panel.
It had been hit, but survived.

I love revisiting old photos and stories of the early GTOs.

Chris

My "Old" 66 GTO... would love to have this one back, it was a unique car with its options.

Grant,

I think you would like to have a “half dozen” back that you owned some 40 yrs. ago.

Me too.

PS, No Smoking!
