My dad made the intake manifold for that car; it's an Olds fuel injection modified to fit Pontiac heads.

Now THAT dragster shot is a killer photo. The depth of field is amazing. Makes you feel like you are right there. Unlike most shots taken with most of today's cell phone cameras!

Omigosh! In 1959 (note the '59 Ford) there were already some really neat Pontiac dragsters (Eddy Hill's, Ernie's Camera Shop, etc.). But then there's this thing.

Anybody else on this planet campaign a M/T hemi Pontiac for eleven seasons? ... or has built a record breaking DOHC hemi four cylinder Pontiac? ... or has driven a couple laps of Nuerburgring with Tri-Power Pontiac power?(back in 1967) ... or has a Pontiac born the same year as Jim Wangers? (1926}

Observations about the above pic...
-I'm trying to figure out if that thing looks dangerous as he!! or fun as he!! -I can't help but wonder how old that guy ever got to be. -Photo was obviously taken in Ford country.

Eddie Hill is on another forum that I am on. We were communicating last October about what he is doing now, and he is heavily into road course racing and winning his share. He's also into Fords, as here is a picture of his latest buy a few weeks ago, a 2019 Ford GT. He's been waiting a while for this one.
