I finished my 39 months at Spang-Dahlem AFB the summer of 1967- which was within a stone's throw of Nuerburgring in the Eifel mountains. Many airmen got homesick enough to fly home for a holiday; instead of that I sent my parents tickets to fly over to spend three weeks touring Europe.

Anybody else on this planet campaign a M/T hemi Pontiac for eleven seasons? ... or has built a record breaking DOHC hemi four cylinder Pontiac? ... or has driven a couple laps of Nuerburgring with Tri-Power Pontiac power?(back in 1967) ... or has a Pontiac born the same year as Jim Wangers? (1926}

I was stationed in Wiesbaden 2009-2011. Loved it there! Really need to get back.
