Heater hose and pvc
Replaced heater core today, and before I go cutting hoses, anybody have and good pictures of how the 2 hoses go(route)? Also would like a picture of the pvc and if it goes next to air cleaner or under. Thanks

Here is a picture of how I routed my heater hoses. The assembly manual shows them routed this way.
The PCV hose just drops down to the valve from the manifold fitting. Hope this helps

Is this for the SD TA? SD's are different.

If she had to ask, it's about the SD.
I believe it goes under the fuel line.

Yes,for sd. Very hard to find pics on 74, at least detailed close ups, and to actually know what is correct. Thanks for pics, would like to see some pcv pics of the tower clamp.....under shaker? Next to shaker? Pointed at 2 o’clock?

And my next question, doesn’t matter how many wire harness I pull out, the gray firewall loom seems to stop short. I know it gets taped along valve cover, but was there a second piece, taped? Since I stop short?
I changed the master also, just need to dig out a cover, today rebuilt alternator and it works....... yay! Tomorrow will be to get all the hoses figured out , and odds and ends back together from doing heater core.... |

So I know I have to paint my master, but is that the correct “knot” tie around spark plug wires too?

So, you're not going to add the inspection stamp when done?

Teri, I’m glad you clarified the title of this thread. I was about to post: “Who the hell is this and what did you do with LadyTaTa? She knows better than to run heater hose in PVC!”

Haha, Just slowing getting all the race stuff off, and fixing what doesn’t work, with trying to make it someone correct looking....not going all out on this car.. I bought it to drive, maybe even to take down the track once or twice. |

Can you post up another picture or two of this same side of the engine? I have a wiring harness on mine that seems to clip on at the back top valve cover bolt and I have no idea what it is for.

One is for the HVAC fan (black), one for the temperature sensor(blue) and the other is for the HEI battery power(pink). I do have one other wire but that is power for the electric choke.
