Was fairly light traffic yesterday afternoon & early eve where we were over N of the Kansas Soeedway. The frustrating thing I noticed in KS, at our stops at QuickTrips, they weren't weren't offering coffee or fountain drinks. The only Quick Trips we stopped at were the small Gen3's, not on the interstate, & inside the stores, they were dead/no customers.

TJ went to WM today, during her weekly shopping trip.

They had some paper towels, but still not a single roll of TP.

The checker told her that they usually get a truck every day, but they come at different times of the day, & the TP disappears QUICK.

She said that there are people who sit out in the parking lot & wait for the truck to come, so they can get one pkg of TP.

In the pic, you can see some paper towels. You can also see plenty of shelf space, which would be a good place to stock some TP, if they should ever again get enuff to need shelf space.

This is still one of the most ridiculous things I've seen, in my 70 + years.

May have to get President Trump involved, in order for us to get a pkg of TP this year.

Gas still dropping here.
Down to $1.27

Still no TP on store shelves .

So some might have to start camping outside the store to be first in line for TP.
Like the old days to get Rolling Stones or Elvis concert tickets.

I have plenty of old socks
Not going to pay a scalper for TP

My wife said to me today ... evidently all the people hoarding TP don't have an old wash cloth and hot soapy water to clean it either..

Back in the 1st weeks of the spread, there were a lot of problems, but now the problem is not enough tests to accurately define how many infections are here.
Now the data is under-reported, so actually the totals are higher.

Most panic is from not adhering to the guidelines to stay away from other people. Hard to spread if you're not in contact with other people.

Not all tests are accurate and equal. NY was using drive thru. Testing in minutes to see if you developed an antigen for covid19 means you are Positive, but it cant say if you are still viral, or you are cured as it does NOT do a real "Culture"

WE need to protect those at risk ( myself included) and get the country back rolling again. Cure rates are HIGHER than the flu, but you cant find those numbers now.

Number of Patients, NOT Positive for COVID19, that are ON Board the USNS Comfort are... numbered Under 50 ....
Other NY "Mobile" Hospitals the patient population is LOW .
Covid 19 IS in a Family of Flu that is called coronavirus, as are Colds.
More people WILL die from HIV than ALL flu this year, and No, we dont have a vaccine for HIV, and its been, like 20+ years?
Some numbers and the reporting is scaring people with little information.
Survival rates are Above 99 %
Ventilator needs are only 1/10th of what was predicted in NYC .
This thing is looking more like a dud weather forecast.
Time to change some habits and get producing again.

It happened....Gas at 0.99 in the middle of Detroit. Of course it is currently considered a "Hot Spot" so nobody may want to get out of the car....Heard from another board member here they say 0.95 in Wisconsin...

e10 gasoline was under a dollar a gal in my area last week. Now, the lowest price is near $1.09 a gal.

Diesel got down to a wholesaler cost of around $1.50 a gal & cheapest stations were selling it a few weeks ago for $1.56 a gal.

BEWARE Philips & other large Oil marketers unlabeled BioDiesel which is being blended into their stations diesel! It has Pork renderings in it. Phillips/Conoco & Tyson Foods did a huge deal nearly a dozen years ago for Tyson to provide the pork renderings. Guess what is causing the expensive diesel fuel filters to clog up much quicker, this has been proven by numerous contractor friends with considerable amts of diesel equipment. My last WIX fuel filter @ O'Effys was near $40 not the $12 of 20 years ago. Buying WIX filters now, online @ a considerable saving, & buying guaranteed straight Diesel fuel, not Phillips blend which is sold @ a huge percentage of stations in my region.

They are making us wear masks and gloves at work (Retail auto parts) The people that are coming in are acting like nothing is going on! We had a pregnant women come in yesterday, no mask no gloves to buy nuts and bolts for her old man. I have to sign a form everyday saying I'm not sick or having symptoms.

As if the toilet paper panic weren't bad enough, enter the Chinese entrepreneurs who have figured out another way to separate us from our money. With my current supply running low and unable to find toilet paper locally, I went on Amazon and found a seller with TP in stock. Shipping was expected to be slow of course and it is just single ply basic, but with no alternative, you do what you gotta do ... 10 jumbo rolls for $19.97 including shipping. Here is what arrived. I placed a single normal roll on top of the package for scale.

So far, in since the beginning of the year, 14,260 people have died of Covid in the US.

That's .008% of the 1.7 MILLION people that normally die in the US in a year.

If it gets 3 times as bad ... it might just equal the people that die in auto accidents this year.

At this point, wearing your seat-belt is far more important than wearing a mask.

Read an article today that stated, if you die and were positive for Covid 19, it is counted as a Covid 19 death, even if it isn’t the main cause. So the numbers of Covid caused deaths Are skewed.

You could get decapitated by a helicopter rotor right now and if you have Covid .. you be counted. "Hey, he was distracted by his recent infection"

Totally contrary to actual statistics as stated by Dr. Anthony Fauci and during yesterday's White House press briefing. If a person has a heart attack as the result of respiratory system failure caused by complications of a Covid19 infection it qualifies as a Covid19 death. If you die from suffocation as a result of pneumonia caused by a Covid19 infection, it is a Covid19 death. Is that so hard to comprehend?

March 1st ,2020 there was 1 death
April 8th, 2020 there are now 14,000 plus deaths
See the difference this happened within just a months time span.
I see most people taking this seriously, if not for yourself then your older parents or relatives. I dont think anyone is running scared in fact I think most people have actually banded together to try and limit the time they are spending outside of their house. When I venture to the store which has been about 2 weeks now, people are courteous and friendly. The common phrase I hear at work is stay safe. I see the majority of people wearing masks at work and out at the stores to be proactive rather then reactive.
