The rule book also says , Expiration Period every 2 years. I don't see any "if, and or buts" ???

IF a car is required to have an SFI net, it must be renewed every two years. However, a 7.50 to 9.99 car doesn't require an SFI net if it's a ribbon-type net. That's my take on it now. And that's why we have to take the SFI tag off: if an inspector sees an outdated SFI tag, he will probably feel compelled to question it.
