Mine is dated 2997 which appears to be October 26th 1967.

I'd be curious to know when the last run of Quadrajets was generally done for a given model year, because it took me a looong time to find a correct carb for my 2nd week of June built car;
It has appeared to me as though most application carbs (at least for Pontiacs) for the model year are done in advance to June of the preceding calendar year (eg: 1968 carbs are mostly done in 1967).

for my car (second week of June 1970 build date);
I found I believe it was three examples of the date carb I ended up buying - and not a single example dated later;
Mine is 0690 = March 10th, 1970
I was looking for several years.
Granted my ebay alerts don't seem to work, and I wasn't scouring the internet every day... but I kept my eyes open.
