I know this car well. I was there when he took delivery... BOTH TIMES! Yes, the car was so good he bought it twice.
This car is VERY straight. No rust, undercarriage is in great shape. It runs really well and very strong. The exhaust sounds PERFECT! What's really cool though is that this LeMans, in that somewhat rare color, and stick with a bench seat, really attracts attention. It's funny to watch people walk past GTO's to check out this car at a show. Oh, and I totally vouch for this seller. I met him when looking to buy one of his cars many, MANY years ago. 100% honest and stand up guy. (Who clearly owes me a beer for the flattery now ) Many of you know me from my years of posting with my Pontiacs over the years. Sadly, I've moved over to... dare I say it, Ford! Well, Shelby to be accurate. I've got a Cobra replica and a new GT350. Always wanted a Shelby and now have two (sort of, I know, he's dead. lol) But I will say this, the forums on the other brands just aren't the same as they are here. Stay safe everyone.

Looks beautiful, what cam?
Also, is it still a 3 speed stick or does it have a 4 speed Muncie now?

Thank you, Andy.
The car was originally purchased from Jack Winkler Motors in Hondo Texas. The car retains the original dealer plate on the truck lid. In 2003, the car was purchased by a collector in Oklahoma. It was a single owner car at that point. The collector went on to have a complete mechanical refurbishment performed. I have receipts for close to $13k. I purchased the car from the collector in early 2014 when he was downsizing his collection. Jim from Truly Vintage transported the car from Oklahoma to NY. I held on to the car for close to two years, and sold it to someone in NJ in late 2015. He wanted some more power, and had the stroker engine built. I always regretted selling the car, and when it came back up for sale in 2018, I immediately bought it back from the same guy I sold it to. I will probably regret selling it again, but another car is on the way, and I could use the garage space. |

The car runs on pump gas, and there are no problems with detonation.
I was asked to post some photos of the floor, and door corners, so here they are. Thank you. |

Any oil leaks? Rear main, oil pan, front or rear of the 4 speed. Rear looks dry.

There is a slight leak that looks like it is coming from the rear main. The oil pan and transmission look dry.

Motor probably makes more torque than you claim.
Dyno couldn't fully load the motor below 3500 - where torque is already decreasing. |
