.....first time of thinkin to swap for roller cam.....
do i need special roller cam bearings or can i leave the std cam hydr flattappet bearings .....is ther a difference..? |

If you're all together and your bearings are 'in good shape the babbit is fine. There are some nice coated cam bearings, i have used, not sure if they are better, than standard stuff, but they are out there. you do not need rolle4r cam bearings to run a roller camshaft. If you do want a roller cam bearing, the block has to be sized for them.
