Solder a mini jack into the AM radio. You will be pleasantly surprised at the sound quality.. Either use a 10 ohm speaker or connect a amp to the high side..

Could you provide a more indepth description of that process? An input jack? Or output jack? Where do you tap?

That's cool, but wow that's expensive.

I unplugged my stock AM and put in a headless AM/FM/Bluetooth setup hidden behind my glovebox controlled by a remote. IIRC, it cost about $100. I never play the radio when I drive anyway, I prefer to listen to the exhaust.

I would call Classic Car Stereos as with a search of their website the 230 appears to be available. I believe you can custom order a 630 or 740 for a nominal charge and get it in a couple weeks.

This is the way! Leave the stock radio there for looks.....
