Default Two Lane Blacktop

Director Monte Hellman passed away the other day. John Pearley Huffman penned this cool appreciation of the film and its director:

Saw the original at the move theatre when it came out, Double date with a buddy and his girlfriend. We were lovin' the cars and the girls were bored to death.

Thanks, Will. Great article. Classic film only 'car guys' would appreciate. The film is a very real snapshot of the car culture in the early '70's, warts and all.
