Where did you get that timing cover?
Looks like it says grp on it. Not the rod company I assume.

It's made by John Gunter here in Maryland. They were being sold by Butler but no longer. He does cnc machining. Gunter Racing Products maybe? It is a combination front motor plate and timing cover that accepts a SBC water pump.

did you consider relocating the wiper motor under the fender on the firewall?.....reclaim some of that realestate?

Wiper motor is completely out of the way of everything now. No need to. Thanks for the suggestion though.

It's a custom piece. Never seen them offer something like that. Pic of wiper motor for clarity. Not even close to being in the way of anything.
