So my final timed run turned to **** when I went to bump in and it triple bumped it…..a wasted timed run so im basically going into eliminations blind folded, lucky me! The first round will be ran in a little bit!

Well not great news…..for me anyways. I basically got my butt kicked in the first round ( a little bit of my fault and some of the cars fault). I watched my opponent leave with means my light SUCKED and then the car ate a plug of two at a ore 600 feet so it ran off. My new high helix doesn’t seem to be doing what I was told/hoping for! When I get home I need to pull the plugs and check the plugs also need to take a compression test then I’ll check my fuel pump to make sure it’s not acting up. If nothing changes I’ll switch blowers and get ready for the Pontiac race in a few weeks…..maybe.

It sounds to me like it's doing exactly as it was designed to do: pumping more air. The burned plugs are probably because your carbs can't keep up with the fuel need--running too lean. What are your EGTs? Jim

A few ET slips one (on the left) is from the 2019 race and the other two are from this last weekend.

George,
Interesting. As your 60 foot time improved on each run. You 60 to 330 and 330 to 1/8 split times got worse. Can you post up those time splits and show the 1000 times? Stan

I started to melt plugs just before the 1/8 mile, thats why the MPH is down .
thats why im only looking at the times up to the 330. GTO George |

I’m troubleshooting my melted plugs and can’t come up with anything, psi for fuel is the same at all carbs. If the back is lean then the front should be worse but no?

The pattern will depend on your blower outlet and the pattern will almost certainly be different from your old blower. That's where individual cylinder EGT's are so helpful.
