My car has the original paint. The paint is rough, but no rust. The body is Sundance orange with white top. The top is shot so I removed it. I expected to find the top painted underneath the vinyl. It does not appear to be painted or primed, but no surface rust was found either.
I am not ready to paint the car yet, but would like to protect the roof until I do. How should I protect it? Primer? If so what kind. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

Epoxy prime it for now.
