Wonder if the E-Type was the Car and Driver car. Only OHC Pontiac conversion I know of.

It might be, if I remember correctly it is the right colors to be it. I am glad I didn't see the auction until after it was over. 1963 Series 1 E-Type (same year my Father owned, but his was a Coupe) OHC6, Manual Trans, Red, Tan Interior, Check, Check, Check, Check Check. I would have been in the bidding. Now I don't need to worry about it.
Doesn't look like it could be the car, per the artical I found on line here https://www.curbsideclassic.com/blog...d-jaguar-xk-e/ It was a coupe, and had 3 side draft webbers on the OHC6

That is a nice looking Cammer for the price, But FYI it does not have 230HO that is the 1bbl version of the 250 OHC-6 and was rated at 175 Gross HP. Manual Steering & Brakes, I am sure it is 4 wheel drums also. Would make a nice seldom seen cruiser.

Well its almost a 73 GP, seems to have 74 bumpers & Tail Lights. And not the original engine if it is a 75 or older GP, Not 350's until the 76 Model year.
