I would really love to take this one on. But I have grown up a bit the last couple decades (yeah right) and am taking a break from accumulating more sh . . . tuff. I have two '67 GPs that need attention, and am going to stick to my plans for them. That said, a '63 in the configuration below is one of my top desires.

That BS aside, the seller is smoking some whacky weed, IMNSHO. He wants $20k for the whole car, and the whole car just needs everything. Assuming the parts not shown are still with it and the drive train is original, I would think this is an $8-10k starting point at best. Maybe I'm the one out of touch with the market.

He listed it under parts, since he wouldn't have to pay the 5 bucks for a real listing in cars for sale.

I got a few more pictures of it via text from the seller, and it ain't pretty. Car had a hard life and it shows.

I think maybe he updated the ad to sell just the engine.

There's only the single picture in his ad. I thought it was just for the engine as well until I emailed him. Then he would only share the photos of the rest of the car via text. His number is in the ad. Text him and he will send a few more.

It bugs me when people aren't willing to pay five bucks for an ad for a car that they're asking that much money for.

Since it's a PA car, I assume you mean rust when you say it ain't pretty?

Agree 10% Stuart.

Rust is there, but also a lot of body damage/bondo on the left quarter panel. letering and some emblems removed. Headlights removed. Crease and other damage on left front fender and driver door, an ancient set of Hercules Honcho tires on it - lol. No underside shots but it is sitting in a filthy building filled with a lot of crap, as well as other Pontiac parts.

I'd rather have to deal with body damage than rust, but either way it sounds like a daunting project.

I looked at this car around 15 years ago, cool car but needs a complete resto. I was in for around 10k but he wasn't.
Nice guy, he sells a lot of Pontiac parts on e bay.

Thanks for the sanity check, Chief. I would be legitimately interested in it at $10k max. I did not jerk the guy around over it, just wished him luck. He'll be keeping it a while longer if he doesn't move on his ask.
