Hideaway coffee can installation?
Can the coffee can for hideaway headlights be installed with the drivers side fender left in place, or does it need to be removed when converting a car from non-hideaways to hideaways?

It depends on how you want it to look, original or not. Im trying to get mine working like original so if you not using parts let me know since I'd but them. Thanks

Let me try this aqain. I want to install an original hideaway headlight coffee can in the same place the factory would have mounted it, using the same type mounting screws and the same mounting method. Do I need to remove the drivers side fender to do that?

You can r&r it with the fender in place. Pretty easy to get to from the engine compartment.

it's been a long time but if I recall correctly, I think the dimples for drilling the holes are punched from the wheel side of the wheel well so you just need to pull the tire and drill up from underneath to put the holes in.

Yes can be done. There are two dimples vertical that are for can mounting. Drill holes and install can
