What is the best way to tell whether you have original versus aftermarket 68 69 Hideaway Headlight Bumper Brackets?

hmmmm
washer marks on the bracket at the frame bolts
my originals have scrape marks from stamping on some of the flat areas ... the drill hole edge?
maybe the welding also
weight ???
rust ??
