WTB 65 GTO (389) Bellhousing, Flywheel and Cover
Looking for a stock Bellhousing, Flywheel and Cover. Nice driver quality with threads in good shape. Prefer a package deal to cut down shipping.

I guess I don't know. The 389 block was originally used with an automatic transmission. I am swapping to a Muncie so I need the three parts listed. The date on the block is Feb 1965, so pretty far into the 65 model year.

also it depends on the year muncie your using ,,,
didnt the early muncies have a smaller diameter front bearing retainer ???? 63-64 ?? try and stay away from the 325 case even though its correct for your car also what shifter and levers are you using,,,hopefully you have a 660 case 63-64 had small studs ,,,,, 65-68 had larger studs and 69 up used bolts... I have a beautifull ready to bolt on 68 GTO bellhousing with a nice PONTIAC only GM fork and GM NOS or used inspection cover available with correct GM transmission bolts too if needed also 1 MINT factory GM 10.5 flywheel only surfaced 1 time or a brand new HAYS flywheel uses either 10.5 or 11" clutch neaver used ,.. already bolted to plywood top and bottom sandwitched oversize and boxed in double thick card board ready to safely ship ,,, also a new centerforce clutch and disc available also Scott |

Sorry for the late update but I needed to get a flywheel over to my machine shop. Still looking for the bellhousing but I will open a new thread to not confuse anyone.
