"So i converted over to e85"
Did you "convert" your current carb to E-85, pay someone to do it, or change carburetors? A metering block change is a necessity.

Fuel consumption will increase as well. Higher ethanol content increases water contamination issues in your fuel system. People I know that race with it drain their fuel system after a race and put good fuel in to let it sit.

I removed my booster on my 1050 dominator by screwing a screw on that banjo from the metering block side and pulling the screw with a vise grip. Then the booster just slides out from the top. Then just reverse the step for installation. I used a special grease that came with my kit. Not sure what is it, looks like a very thin red lube. Good luck.

I messed up on terminology. What I meant to say is the pins that locks the booster in place.

Pick up an external linkage kit. You have more primary throttle blade articulation before pulling secondary side open. Hope you still have ' Turbo Louie"

With external linkage you have the ability to do progressive thru 1:1 easily. I have seen where 1:1 can produce a huge lean condition.

Yeah i understand how it makes it lean. Im just trying to keep it 1:1 if i can. I feel like i barley got it to work with gas . Took a lot of trial an error .. I was thinking of closing down the front a bit and try to open up the back blades some for some more range in the slot (Or maybe lower the slot) . It seems like these dominators like being closed in the back more then the front . I say this because anytime i square up the blades to slots like the front it runs up the idle really high. So if i close up the front some i can open up the back more . Its just a thought...

Charlie66, Read this, https://www.horsepowerinnovations.co...nd-conversions
Booster big hole is about 1/2 inch with 12 smaller holes inside ( don't know sizes ) PVCR is big difference between ours I believe yes on exposed .078 transition slot Might want to buy E85 conversion blocks I believe it's hard to flood with E85, Give bigger jets and squirters/cams a try. I've raced with E85 for 20 years with purposed built carbs, saved a ton of money, go 8.90 NA, 8.60 with 100 shot for3- 4 sec. Good Luck with your 1050.
