Just got done sandblasting epoxy priming and painting a set of rally II wheels. I have to say what a pain. taping off the silver. Took me 3 hours to tape 4 wheels. This was the first time I used 3M fine line tape. I am impressed on how clean it lifts after painting. If you ever have to paint and have a clean transition, use this tape.
I ended up using single stage Urethane metalic paint on top of the epoxy. Came out glossy but that was what I wanted. |

I have been using the coating store https://www.thecoatingstore.com/
Excellent paint for the price. I used their paint for 3 cars with no complaints. I used charcoal grey metallic and iridium silver. |

I used those stick on vinyl masking cut outs made for the spokes. Goes way easier than hand masking everything.

Those wheels look great. The charcoal grey is perfect unlike a lot of rally 2 wheels Ive seen done where the charcoal grey is way too light.
Have you used their paint to paint the car with? |

Yes painted 3 cars with their paint. 2 single stage and 1 bc/cc. I was very happy with the way the paint laid down and polished. I went with their top of the line clear on the bc/cc.
Black white slate blue |

Thanks for the info. Their prices are very reasonable and they have factory colors available.

Did you use their kit when you painted the cars? It looks like the kits come with a gallon of base and a gallon of clear and all the hardeners and reducers.
