I just bought a 97 T/A convertible real cheap.Has a WS6 hood but no WS6 RPO CODE.Has the right airbox i think..So did the org owner add it? Or just a factory option?

From what I remember it could be either way. Maybe it could have been a last minute factory change. But more than likely the owner added it. Looks good the way it is so I wouldn't worry about it too much. At least it didn't cost you money to make the change.

Looks like a late 4th gen raptor hood.
97 Ram Air WS6 hood did not have a separation down the middle.

Yes, that’s aftermarket. ‘98-up WS6 style made for a ‘93-97.

Owner added
The owner added. Ram Air hood only on WS6 cars, never a separate option.
And the Comp T/As and NHRA cars...I'm not sure those were put together. Regards
