Gem or Boat Anchor
Question...I have what I think is a correct '65 Norris Technology steel wheel that is in great shape except:
There is a small flat spot near the bead that measures 1 1/2" long and is 1/32" deep in the center. Will this defect impact the ability of the tire to hold pressure? Thanks! Bill |

That shallow a scrape, it should hold air.

Air is held in by the side of the bead not the top. There should be no problem.

Not a problem at all. Run it.
