Does anybody else watch Adam-12?
I just finished watching an episode that featured a 1970 Judge! It's just so neat watching the cars we value so much now being so nonchalantly treated back then. This particular episode aired in 1972 so that Judge was still a fairly new car. This show is on Direct TV and has two thirty-minute episodes from four to five CT.
Good show if you like seeing all the classic cars during their heyday. |

Believe that’s the same 70 Judge that was used in Two Lane Blacktop.

I watch it occasionally. I've seen some nice muscle on there. The street scenes on just about any 60s and 70s show or movie are very interesting to me. Brings back memories and not just the cars. Gas stations, store fronts, etc.

The studios kept an inventory of cars to use, and if you watch carefully you'll sometime see the same ones make appearances on multiple shows of the era - Adam-12, CHiPs, Emergency!, and so on. I think that GTO also showed up in an episode of Magnum PI.

I watch it and Perry Mason. Pluto Tv has a Perry Mason channel and not long ago I was watching the Adam-12 channel. Saw a new car lot on Adam-12, was all firebirds facing the street, didn’t get what year that one aired.

I saw a Banacek show yesterday and it had the Two Lane Blacktop Judge in it. (1st I've seen that show in a long time)
It made the rounds on all the shows I think.

I’m a big fan. If you watch much, keep an eye out for the blue Maverick. I swear it’s in most episodes.

I’ve found that 70’s shows have become a lot more interesting to watch due to the street scenes. A lot of previous era shows were in studios so not as many street scenes but the 70’s really expanded the street scenes.

Yes, great show. In one episode Reed drives his personal car, a beater Jewel Blue '61 Corvette. Also like the '68-'69 GTO used as a ramp car in many CHiPs episodes.

Don't miss the episode where they're at the drag strip. Reed is driving an early 50's Chevy and at one point there is a 65 Lemans making a pass and if I remember correctly it's running low 12's.
Here is a link to some of the cars Seen on TV. https://www.imcdb.org/movie_62539-Adam-12.html

Adam 12
Inspired me to become a Police Officer.
I hope I have aged better than the show though, seems kind of hokey now. Lol |
