I'm putting my 69 Trans am back together after spending 2 years in the body shop. I'm having difficulty figuring out the wiring for the in dash tach. I think I found the connector on the dash cluster, there's a male spade connector at the top of the cluster, right where the tach is. (I wish I knew how to post a picture of it). I can't find anything in the harness that would connect there. I have tried to search the web for wiring diagrams for this, but none of the diagrams I have found include the in dash tach. I can't find any additional wires at the coil, either. It seems there should be a second wire on the negative side of the coil for the tach. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Here's a link to a picture of the dash cluster with the arrow pointing to the terminal that I THINK is the tach connection. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/c...fed8fe~mv2.jpg |

I would think the wire would be in the engine compartment that connects to the coil if it had the gauge from factory. Probably a black with pink stripe?
It would follow the loom to the firewall connectors. Then on the inside would possibly still be black with pink stripe. And i think it is a single spade type connector.
