Aluminum Intakes in 1968 MY
I think the answer to my question will be "no" but I'd like to ask the forum if there were any aluminum 1x4 intakes outfitted by the factory on Firebird or GTO 400s? If so, part numbers please.

Tom V - thanks for the link. I'm in fact creating a RAII clone setup in a '68 F'bird, so ref to the Mino car is always welcomed reading.
The hardest parts I'm looking to procure are the long-branch exhaust manifolds. All leads so far have ended cold. RARE doesn't seem to be in business any longer, or at least they don't answer their phone and they don't return messages. Will be trying Sonic Motors next. Any other suggestions would be very welcomed! |

Sept 67, so the wrong end of the model year for RAII. My goal with the car is to keep it perfectly streetable but also use it once a year in the PSMCDR in Michigan. I purchased the car in August and had it at Stanton this past September for review with the Jensens. They indicated that as long as the clone work was right with all the components, they would not knock the car down for having an out-of-sync build date. So that's the plan.
