Had a Kawasaki H1 and a H2 I bought in Japan while on a West Pac Cruise,
Sold the H2 after uncrating it and setting it up for much more than I paid. They were fast in the 70's but nothing compares to the GSR-GSX 1100-1150's of the mid late 80's to me. And now they seem slow.lol Also I always felt safer on my bike at track days than on the street cause most of us knew our limits.

Those were some dangerous days ... HP was outpacing handling and brakes by a huge margin.

What I see immediately is the steering dampers .... a very very good modification to make to those bikes. And the oil coolers ... somebody liked to really ride their bikes
![]() New Zealand has produced some world class motorcycle racers ... which I always thought was weird for an island out in the middle of nowhere.

I miss my 76 FXE Super Glide. Sold it back in the 90s like a dumbass. But here in Delaware... nope, wouldn't have another because of the way people drive their cages. And that goes for a lot of places.
