Not sure about correct code but check out this place
https://www.autocityclassic.com/1970...hardtop-22387/ A guy (maybe two) over at TAC discussed the correct curvature of the door glass which apparently can be incorrect depending on where you source your glass from but this place apparently has the correct curvature

I recently picked up all the glass for my son's '79 TA at the Pilkington warehouse in Phoenix. Actually it was a couple months ago. Anyways, I was told they restructured the classic car business a couple/few years ago (technically a different company I think) and can no longer buy direct. So you have to buy it from a dealer and either have it shipped or pick it up at a Pilkington warehouse/will call location. I didn't bother with the date coding, so not sure that's still an option, but the dealer I bought it from asked me if I wanted it.

Glass
Do any of these companies actual make same window as what as originally ordered with correct dot codes? My windshield is broken and soft Ray. I'd be interested too in a recommendation for correct dot rating and tint not just a date stamp

Bumping this to see if we have any new info. Especially if those who ordered LOF and date coding info were happy with the appearance.

I had City Auto Glass do all my glass with the correct date coded logos in the correct locations.
Also, if I'm not mistaken all American made glass. The glass does not have the tempering light and dark spots either. |
