66 Lemans Coil Springs and Ride Height
I recently acquired a 66 Lemans which has Catalina springs and additional 1” bushings above the frame to body mount bushing. The prior owner added the bushings so that he could create space for the Gear Vendors unit without cutting or altering the trans tunnel since it’s all original metal. Those two modifications have the car sitting pretty high. I’d like to get a lower yet stance so would like to see pics of other 66/67s and the springs used to arrive at that height. I see our host sells replacement springs so it’d be good to know if anyone who posts has used them.

There was a guy who parted out Pontiacs a few miles from my house. He sold me a set of coil springs that came off a 66 or 67 Lemans that still had the ID tags on them. The fronts said 'Moog HD' and the rears said 'Moog Cargo Coils'. My friend put them on his 67 Lemans convertible. The car sat exactly factory and rode and handled very well; we also put a thicker front bar and a rear sway bar on it.
