After I got done with my ignition saga, I changed the spark plugs, replaced the PCV valve and put the drivers door weatherstripping on. I've been driving around with no weatherstripping for a while now. It's surprising how much dust gets in without it. So now I have a new Quadrajet, spark plugs, PCV valve, Cap, rotor and weatherstipping. Getting ready to head out for a drive and see how it all works. I did a little cleaning up of the engine compartment too.

Glad you're better.
Is the GTO automatic or 4 speed? I imagine he was very excited to ride in it.

My guys helped me put on the front bumper this morning. Got some adjusting to do now, but I can do that myself. Have to get used to this chrome, was painted car color since 1988.

It's winter here but the weather has been great. Gave the car it's first wash since it came back from the bodyshop.

Out again at our local Coffee and Cars meet in Valencia California.
Was actually a lot of cars there, this was after most of them had already rolled out, I was parked next to my friend’s 1966 bug.

Took the 62GP out to run through the gears today while my wife was at church. Everything was going great until it just quit on my way back home. Had to be towed. Wife just happened to be going by while I was talking to the rollback driver. Upon arrival at home, she was waiting to take a picture of the car on the rollback.....and laughing! Haven't troubleshot the issue yet but looks like there is no gas getting to the carbs. Guessing the fuel pump went south.

Nothing. I’m in the shop, but working on my mowers broken steering!
Busy weekend. Went to Kenosha for one of my grandkids birthday party. Ran into my cousin who lives there, and he said he just got back from some big MOPAR show in Minnesota, and took first place. Cool. I asked for pictures, and one of them was of his sitting in the garage next to his dad’s LeMans. I haven’t seen these cars since I moved away from the area about 6 years ago.
