Anyone happen to know the size of the nuts / screws that are on the backside of a 2nd Gen Gauge Cluster - these are the ones that hold the tabs in place for the ‘L’ shaped plug on the back of cluster for the Tach plug.
Bout to pull my cluster and of course I can pull one of those nuts off the back and match it up at ACE - but if anyone happens to know the diameter and thread count - I can have may parts ready before I start disassembling. Thank you all. |

Keeping in mind this is a late 70's cluster and it looks like your cars are early- (edit-my pics won't show for some reason) If these are are the tach plug prongs you're referring to they're studs with a 5/16 nut. I don't know the thread count but the bottom threads that go into the cluster are course and the threads above the nut are fine.

Thank You! Yes, that is the exact size of the nuts on the studs that hold the tach tabs in place. Having a pack of those on hand made this project much easier!
