Troy is also building that stock block HP headed pump gas engine that's going to set the horsepower record for stock block on pump gas (whatever that is), so he does have a lot going on.

I have 4 sets of roller rockers and 2 sets of shafts and most of them say what they are right on top.
For some reason I was thinking the Jessle lifters had their offset stamped on them thats why I opened up the box. Glad I did, wanted to check them for rust. They are all good, had a NIB set rust on me before.

I thought he already did that with his last engine?

I remember him posting his HO heads were the fastest ones out there?

I know they were quick, as they went only two tenths slower than mine. But I was four hundred pounds heavier, had an tight street converter, less gear, full exhaust, street tires, and didn't race at sea level.

I did get them. Very nice, pretty easy to set everything up. Just take your time, check and re check.
They look like jewelry under the hood.
How much are they now ? I got mine for 1540 $
The engine is up and running. Made a few test passes. No leaks, sounds sweet.
Have not tried to tune it yet, maybe later this month.
Only hooked the car once, had a 1.41 60 foot which is better than the car ever did with the old engine. But only had 28 deg timing. Did not MPH so I have some work to do finding it what it likes. No dyno and testing at a track takes forever, hard to get runs in.
I would think there is a 1.37-1.38 in the car and that would get me where I want to be.
Not going to thrash on this engine anyway. Hope to put the HOs back on it and the High Ports on the 540. I can thrash on it all day.
