Were '66 headrest seats available without recline?
A decent set popped up recently, but before I send and $$$ need to know... thanks!

Yes, Code 571 @ $41 for bench seats and $52 for Bucket seats.
They were included in the reclining seat option.

Repro headrests are available in black. Around $300
w/hardware. Easily added, nothing special about the seat frames themselves. Just don't pay an exorbitant premium is all I'm saying. |

I installed the repro headrests in my '67 quite a while ago. As I recall, they were reasonably priced at the time. I painted them to match the seats (blue) and they look great, and I see no wear after more than 10 years. Not sure about the '66, but on mine the mounting hardware was inside the seats. There are several detailed posts describing installation.
