Default Leaf spring shackle hole

I 'm replacing the left rear 15" of frame rail on my 68 Firebird conv. Got everything tacked in place and started welding however on final check and comparison with right side I found that this left shackle hole is 1" forward from what right side is. Now I'm wondering if I got the correct frame rails but too late for that now. Question is what will the 1" shorter distance do when installing new leaf springs if I leave and do right side to match? I would hate to lose all this work and dollars if I need to cut it back out and get new rails. Thanks in advance for any opinions!

The holes distance MUST MATCH.
